Very clever Greenpeace ad to encourage paper recycling. This Sony ad is also nice and simple.

Zero-emissions vehicle?

French carmaker Peugeot found a great way to design a zero-emissions vehicle: trees. They planted a whole forest in South America to cancel out the emissions of their entire car production. Does it mean they don’t have to work on fuel efficiency? Of course not, but it’s still a true gain for nature, not to mention a nice PR move. Now that’s what I call innovative thinking!

New LED lightbulbs

These new LED lightbulbs emit a light similar in spectrum to sunlight, and are more energy efficient than regular lightbulbs. And they were discovered by accident, as a by-product of research on quantum dots. What more can you ask for?
